The total, at a glance
For a student starting after Class 12 and taking all 13 exams, the full ACCA journey in India typically costs around ₹2.5–3.5 lakh, including ACCA’s own fees and coaching. Graduates and CA students with exemptions usually pay less because they sit fewer exams.
What you pay ACCA
- Initial registration fee — paid once when you join.
- Annual subscription — paid every year while you are a student.
- Exam fees — charged per paper. Strategic Professional papers cost more than Applied Knowledge papers, and booking early is cheaper than booking late.
- Exemption fees — charged for each exam you are exempted from (cheaper than sitting it).
ACCA fees are set in British pounds, so the rupee amount moves with the exchange rate. Always check the current fee schedule on ACCA’s official website before you budget.
What you pay for coaching
Coaching fees vary widely between institutes and formats — classroom, live online or recorded. When comparing, look at what is included: study material, mock exams, doubt-solving, revision classes and career support. A lower fee that excludes mocks and revision often costs more in re-attempts.
