How to Choose the Right ACCA Coaching Institute: A 10-Point Checklist

Search “best ACCA coaching” and you will find dozens of rankings — many of them written by the institutes being ranked. Instead of trusting a list, use this checklist to judge any institute yourself, including us.

The 10-point checklist

1. ACCA approval status. Check that the institute is an ACCA Approved Learning Partner on ACCA’s own website, not just on the institute’s banner.
2. Who actually teaches. Ask for the faculty list for your papers and their qualifications. Will the people in the brochure teach your batch?
3. Batch size. Smaller batches mean more attention and faster doubt-solving.
4. Mock exams and feedback. How many full timed mocks are included, and does a faculty member review your answers?
5. Study format. Live classes, recordings, classroom or a mix — choose what fits your schedule.
6. Doubt support. How quickly are questions answered, and through which channel?
7. Honest pass-rate claims. Ask how pass rates are calculated and for which papers and sessions.
8. Total cost transparency. Get a written breakdown of coaching fees versus fees paid to ACCA.
9. Career support. Resume building, interview preparation and real employer connections — not just “placement assistance” on paper.
10. A free demo or counselling session. A good institute will let you experience a class and get honest advice before you pay.

Red flags

• Guaranteed passes or guaranteed jobs.
• Pressure to pay on the same day.
• Vague answers about who teaches and how many mocks you get.
